Synesthesia
This project is a sound-responsive, code-based visual experience inspired by synesthesia. It translates audio input into a display of colour, with each note picked up by the microphone triggering corresponding hues on screen. The result is a dynamic, rainbow-like effect where colours flow and blend in direct response to the music.
Titled Synesthesia, the album takes the concept literally. Aiming to visualise sound itself. To bring this idea into physical form, I translated the visuals onto a vinyl cover. Using an augmented reality camera, users can view the graphics in motion through their phone, adding an immersive, interactive layer to the record. This fusion of music, colour and technology creates a unique, multisensory experience that bridges the digital and physical.
